Training Updates Q1 2021 – Krzysztof Mackojc, Technical Director

Fathom’s biggest asset is knowledge, and as such we constantly develop our knowledge base in our fields of interest.

Our Technical Director, Krzysztof Mackojc, has the responsibility in the business to ensure Fathom stays at the forefront of subsea and offshore engineering and this insight focuses on the courses he selected to achieve this.

The completed courses included:

• Practical Modelling of Joints and Connections (delivered by NAFEMS)
• Advanced Dynamic FEA (delivered by NAFEMS)
• Foundation Design of Offshore Wind Turbine Structures (delivered by Asranet)
• Design and Analysis of Floating Wind Turbine Structures (delivered by Asranet)
• Advanced Analysis of Offshore Structures (delivered by Asranet)

Kris is already looking forward to more exciting courses later this year focusing further on hydrodynamic analysis, advanced structural dynamics and hydroelasticity.

Thanks to Paul Steward of NAFEMS for making it easy to become NAFEMS members and use our membership to the fullest including meeting the legendary Tony Abbey.

We would also like to extend some special gratitude to Purnendu Das from Asranet for organising and delivering such well delivered courses led by top notch industry experts – you wouldn’t believe Kris’s excitement meeting his kind of celebrity, Subhamoy Bhattacharya just few weeks after finishing reading his book!
